1. Information We Don't Collect

Resume Builder does not have a server or backend of its own. As a result, we do not collect, receive, or have access to:

• Your name, contact details, or resume content
• Photos, documents, or files you add to your resume
• Your location, contacts, or device identifiers
• Usage analytics tied to you personally

We simply have no infrastructure to collect this information even if we wanted to.

2. Local Data Storage

Every resume, template, input field, and exported file you create in the app is stored locally in the app's storage on your own device. Nothing you type or upload is uploaded to us or to any cloud service we operate.

If you delete the app, or clear its storage, your resume data is deleted along with it. We cannot recover it, because we never had it.

3. No Account Required

Resume Builder does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide an email address to use any feature of the app. There is no login, and no user profile is created or stored anywhere outside your device.

4. Third-Party Ads Disclosure

Resume Builder is free to use and supported by advertising. The app displays ads served through a third-party ad network (such as Google AdMob). To serve relevant ads, these networks may automatically collect certain technical information, such as your device's advertising identifier, general device information, and approximate location, in accordance with their own privacy policies.

This data collection is performed by the ad network directly, not by Resume Builder, and is outside our control. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of the ad network(s) used by the app to understand how they handle your information. You can typically manage ad personalization through your device's operating system settings.

5. Children's Privacy

Resume Builder is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Because the app does not collect personal data from any user, regardless of age, no child-specific data is ever gathered, stored, or shared. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a third-party ad shown in the app, please contact that ad network directly, or reach out to us and we will do our best to help.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example to reflect changes in the app or in applicable law. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

1. License to Use the App

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Resume Builder on devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial purpose of creating resumes. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the app.

2. Local-Only Functionality

Resume Builder operates entirely on your device and does not require an account or internet connection to create or edit a resume. Because all data is stored locally, you are solely responsible for backing up your resume data, for example by exporting a copy. We are not responsible for any data lost due to app deletion, device loss, device failure, or storage being cleared.

3. Ad-Supported App

Resume Builder is provided free of charge and is supported by third-party advertising. By using the app, you agree to the display of ads as part of the normal experience. See the "Third-Party Ads Disclosure" section of the Privacy Policy above for details on how ad networks handle data.

4. No Warranty

Resume Builder is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or that any resume created with it will result in employment or any particular outcome.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the app, including data lost due to the local-only storage model described in these Terms.

6. Governing Law

Resume Builder is available to users worldwide. Since the app works entirely on your device and does not operate any servers, these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app's developer is based, without regard to its conflict of law principles, and without depriving you of any consumer protections you are entitled to under the mandatory laws of the country in which you reside.

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
